A way with Muse

"Oi, Hazel" my sister Ehetere came in from the driveway where she'd collected her papers and the day's mail.
"You've got a letter from… somewhere in Auckland." She said handing it to me. Having the feeling of complete and utter excitement that people get when a letter arrives for them, I eagerly opened the envelope to find no letter but 3 tickets complete with a triple backstage pass to see Alternative Rock band-
"Muse concert tickets, cool"
I couldn't believe it,
"But where did they come from?" I asked myself…
"Oh, who cares? Coz I got Muse tickets." I smiled to myself.
"What're you looking so happy about?" Ehetere asked.
I handed the envelope to her so that she could see.
"Awesome, how did you manage to get Muse tickets?"
"I don't really know," I admitted.
"But a note did come with them."
"Let's have a read of it?" asked Ehetere and I handed the note to her.
"Dear Miss Anderson," she read,
It gives us great pleasure to announce that you have won a chance for you and 2 friends to go and meet the band Muse.
Matthew, Dominic and Chris also send their kindest regards and hope to see you this coming Sunday at their concert at the St James theatre in Auckland."
Her first words after that were:
"We should tell Atama about this, after all, there will be 1 ticket left over."

"Awesome, what time is the concert?" he asked after I had told him where it was and what day it was on.
"The concert tickets say 8pm. Will you be coming with us?"
"I think you already know the answer to that." Laughed my brother.
"So, when will we be seeing you?" I asked.
"I'll be in Palmerston North by about dinnertime, just get dad to collect me."

"Hey Hazel, how did you get the tickets?" asked my brother.
"I have no idea; they came in the mail with a note from some guy." I replied.
"Let's have a look" requested Atama as I handed over the envelope which the tickets came in.
Now came the question which all 3 of us were thinking;
"How are we going to organise this so that we get there to see the concert?" I asked.
"We could always fly up and stay with mum's school-friend" suggested Ehetere.

Around here there's a huge gap missing while we tried to organise the whole thing.
Eventually we managed to get everything sorted.
When my memory decided to start working again, we were at Auckland airport.
Over the next few hours there are great big gaps in my memory, so next thing I remember was walking to the theatre while Atama carried the tickets.
"What do you think their personalities will be like?" I asked
"I just hope they'll be normal guys…hopefully they will anyway." Said Ehetere.
"Don't worry, it's Muse. They seem to just like having fun (like us) and teasing each other. They're boys, that's what they do best." Replied Atama. "The only difference is that they enjoy playing live and act sillier than any of us."
"I just hope you're right, Atama." I said.

"That concert was so awesome." I said once we got backstage.
Atama, Ehetere and I put our passes around our necks and got ready to go into Muse's dressing room.
Just as we were going in to see Muse, my injured knee twisted itself, causing me excruciating pain which also caused me to swear at the top of my voice.
At which point, I awoke from my slumber

"Gosh darn it!" I said to myself.
"What is it?" asked Esther. "You look as though you're about to faint."
"I just had the most wonderful dream, it had you, Adam, me and Muse in it"
